Eco Green Humidifier
“If you live in a place that is cold and dry right now, do yourself a favor and pick up a humidifier. This particular model from Japan definitely has an elegant “ancient tech” kind of charm. Carved out of Japanese Cypress, the Mast Humidifier absorbs water from the hull and diffuses it through the air—along with the natural lemony-scent of the wood itself. Its rot resistant and, naturally, electricity free. Plus it’s really nice looking.” - via Gizmodo

NY Subway train filled with Apple’s DISCHARGES onto Platform :O

Yes, you saw discharged and read more didn’t you! Your sick!! but hey read this :)

New York’s City Harvest food bank created this commercial to illustrate the point that as thousands of pounds of food is wasted daily, thousands of residents don’t have enough to eat. In other words, our food distribution processes bite - not just in the US, but worldwide. City Harvest works to change that on a local level.

This year alone, the group will “rescue” and deliver more than 25 million pounds of quality food that would otherwise go to waste.”

Household Cleaning Products in Re-used Plastic Bottles

“From the New Soap, Old Bottle web site: “We sell brand new liquid soap packaged in old plastic soda bottles, plastic water bottles and glass beer bottles to help clean up our environment. Each bottle is cleaned, sanitized and processed for reuse as packaging for your favorite brand of liquid soap. Big companies aren’t going to do this on their own.  So, we’ll do it for them. We buy name brand liquid soap by the barrel and package it in old bottles here in America.” “

Green Green Design Coca Cola Coca Cola Silver Can

zoom Paint-Free Coke Can, Green?
“Designer Harc Lee has created a “naked” Coca Cola can that forfeits Coke’s typical bold red and white stripes in favor of au naturale silver. The aluminum can is created without using any paints or dyes, and stands to greatly reduce pollution and energy use associated with producing and recycling soda cans. Instead of coloring the can with toxic dyes and paints used on traditional Coca-Cola Classic cans, Harc Lee’s monochrome coke can would use a pressing machine to make the brand stand out from its background. The result is a sleek, updated look fitting for a 21st-century beverage.”

I’d definitely buy this actually looks better but I don’t drink Coke so meh :P

Produced in a limited quantity, each piece is unique and shows the branding and markings of the bags used in the process. No word if they still carry that wonderful coffee scent, but you can still identify which company produced the beans and where they came from.”
